Comparing Glamis to Dumont... fees, management, BLM staffing, etc., is comparing apples to oranges. Other than sand and the types of toys crawling across it, the areas have little in common. It wouldn't have been impossible for such a thing to happen. Legislation is passed all the time with unexpected riders hanging on at the end.

This is probably one of the most important TRT meetings a Dumont enthusiast could attend.

A funding source for Dumont has been cut off (temporarily, we all hope) and now there is a strong push to increase user fees at Dumont.

The BLM needs user guidance on this.
