How big of an area do the Dunes cover?
Are there any tall dunes?

I found a site that said over 3000 acres?
I like the idea of what it is close to. The Grand Canyon and Zion National Park.

I believe in total acres it's just over 4160 acres. But not all acres are duneable. Some are covered in pine trees, but there are trail rides you can take.
For just hard core/fast duning, this is not the place, try Lil. Sahara in Utah.
BUT for enjoyment of scenery and just an enjoyment of the out doors and some duning thrown in besides; this place is kinda fun.
CP elevation is at and above 6000 feet so be prepared...

Great place for quads, not great for rails.

I visit Coral Pink several time each summer. WIth the elevation the temperatures are very nice. THe sand is different, but ridding sand inbetween trees is a hoot. The pay to use camp ground has hot showers and is nice, however big rigs will not fit. I personally use the BLM land called the meadows. You will need a burn can to have a fire at the BLM site so come prepared....
