lots of fences.

Post by saychz316 » Mon Apr 16, 2007 4:34 pm

was in ocotillo this weekend. my group usually camps just north of benson lake loop and morton road, and east of devil slide lane.

lots of fenced in area now that keeps people away from the mesquite. supposed to preserve the roots, etc, and the animals that take shelter in them.

all the fencing looks very new. like it went up this past week or so.

we are loosing space, and in danger of loosing more. lets go people. oppose the geo thermal closure, write the letter. i love ocotillo. dont let it become the next pismo beach..

saychz- you may want to look at this post for a possible clue to the fences.

What??

Oh, I thought you wrote "lots of feces."

Figured someone was dumping their black water tank again.

Sorry....  I've got to slow down a little...

Carry on...

Seriously, the battle has many fronts and will never be over; so keep up the good fight!

yeah, i saw that one. this is north of the airport though, and not south. they had signs up with the explanation, but it was waay to windy all weekend for me to take out my camera to get a shot. i have a digital nikon d-80 slr 35mm, and it does not like sand! :D
