#26: Polaris and RideNow Power sports have both stepped up "BIG TIME"

ASA Board

The ASA has relied on a raffle program as a primary revenue source from the very beginning in 2000. Sand car builders donated over ten high dollar buggies. Trailer and OHV manufactures have provided several raffle prizes, as well.

As side by sides became popular, ASA, with the help of RideNow Power Sports, transitioned to side by sides as the primary raffle vehicle. Ten years ago, Polaris donated a four seat RZR which RideNow upgraded with Destination Polaris filming the upgrade.

For the past ten years Polaris Industries has donated at least one RZR each year in addition to cash donations to underwrite the ASA mission.

For the past two years Polaris and RideNow have STEPPED UP BIG TIME by donating and upgrading two RZRs each year. The RideNow Surprise, Az dealership upgraded the second RZR and found a buyer. This is a significant ASA revenue source.

Rachel Welhouse, Sr Associate Marketing Manager, Polaris Inc, said” We are proud to partner with the American Sand Association who play an instrumental role in promoting land access for our recreational riding community and have a shared commitment of encouraging safe and responsible riding.”

Mike Pfab, Marketing Director for Ride Now Power Sports continued "RideNow is honored to be an ASA President's Circle member and to be able to help with the ASA's mission. We are passionate about keeping public land accessible to all, especially off-road enthusiasts. Supporting the efforts of ASA is a powerful step to ensure access to places like the Imperial Sand Dunes.  In order to remain open not only to the current generation of dune riders, but also future generations, we encourage the whole community of off-road enthusiasts to support the ASA mission, whether that be in volunteering, donating, or buying a raffle ticket for a chance to win a custom Polaris RZR."

Looking ahead Polaris and the RideNow Surprise Az dealership have committed to a similar program for 2021-22 season. ASA will raffle one RZR and with RideNow support will sell the second up graded RZR.
