The American Sand Association is pleased to announce that Dave Kuskie has accepted the position of Executive Director.  Dave has served on the board of directors for the past year and is ready to get right to work on the issues facing the Sand Sports recreation community today.  An industry veteran, Dave has been an active enthusiast since the early 1980’s and has visited all of the major sand dune recreation areas in the USA.

Dave will focus on fundraising, OHV business and government agency relationships in his new role.  A key expectation will be to expand the ASA’s activities against the current assaults on OHV access to public lands.

Dave said “Thank you ASA BOD for entrusting me with the Executive Director position.  I look forward to working with all of you, my peers in the industry, community leaders, land managers and most important the enthusiasts in preserving our Right to Ride.  I love and have a passion for our sport, been a huge supporter of the ASA for years from the business sponsor side and feel honored to be able to help lead the fight to keep our riding areas open.  Also, I want to thank Nicole Gilles for getting me more involved and for her prior work as ASA ED.”
