Welcome to the Mescalaro Sand Dunes

Hello everyone, After a suggestion to the moderaters, we now have a New Mexico dune forum! Thanks! These are some pretty cool dunes about 36 miles east from Roswell, New Mexico. For folks in Las Cruces (like us) these dunes are around 3 1/2 hours away. A nice trip for a 3 or 4 day weekend. Camping i...

I would make sure that you are pulling all the harnesses from the car in tact. Lay them out how you want them mounted in the buggy - then decide if you want to start chopping un-needed accessories. Be-sure you have the electrical diagrams! Fabbing up trailing arms won't be that bad - I would just us...

On the topic of Mopar -- I like to use the Chrylser 2.2 Turbo's out of the Lebaron's, New Yorker's, Daytona's, Shelby's, etc. They are beefy as all get out, and you can really push some decent power with them. The aftermarket is good, Kennedy Engineering makes an adapter for your VW tranny -- or you...
