Get a one inch flapper wheel in a die grinder and make about ten passes on each groove where the ball's ride and on the star with 80 grit and then do it again with 120 grit and this will polish and clearance your CV's.

Thanks Jason H., yes I will be there with the seats and can't wait. Porboy the car is looking awsome you really are doing a great job getting it together but I am sorry cause I feel it was partly my fault you went to the long travel instead of the standard or mid so now you have to spend more money....

Jason is right some times you see some of the color combinations and think that's gonna look different :? and then we get photo's from are customers when the seats in the car and they look great, it just tells me that most all customers really now what they want and how it's going to look when done....

I suggest not using the water to cool down freshly welded parts this is not a good thing to do as it will weaken the weld and warp steel.

Looking at the photo's it almost looks like you should move the rack down a little. but it's hard to tell without it in front of me but I fixed one pretty much like yours and the rack was set about an 1 1/2" to high I lowered it and shazzam.

Ok I have checked and have come up with 21 ft/lbs on a type 1 and type 2.

On a 930 joint is 31 ft/lbs

I think I will go with that.

I have never had any noise or problems with my CV's... BUT The bolts that tighten them to drive flanges/stub axles seem to always come loose (like loose after 3 days in dunes), at wheel end. We will put the belt retainers on any of our seats all you have to do is ask and the best part about it is there is no extra charge!

Yes another option we don't charge for, that saying "you get what you pay for" but we made a promise and believe you should get what you paid for and more.

We seem to get the best results when using Bel-Ray assembly lube to coat the parts first and then use Swepco Moly grease.
