Everyone has given you good tips except the weight of the car (1650-1800lbs.) My 4 seat Chenowth beam car with 091/subi was only like 1200lbs. and my new 4st wuerth motorsports long travel is under 1500lbs. Depending on what frame you could range anywhere from 1000lbs, up to 1800lbs(but that would b...

If it was me I would go through the motor just for the piece of mind knowing it's fresh. 5 seasons on a turbo motor depending on how much use each season is alot. It would be worth it to keep it a reliable non-wrenched on every trip motor. Just my 2 cents.

If you are on a budget you can run a type 2 cv at the trans and leave the type 1 stub axle and run a type 1 cv they have the same spline on the axle. you cant run a stock type 1 axle it is too long, but they make bus trans to bug arm axles.

You just missed out I just sold a set of sway-a-way 2.5" 10 travels. I found with a fox 2.0 that I would overheat it and it would start to fade after about 20-30 mins. I stepped up to the 2.5 and I could run hard through what-ever terrain and the were just warm to the touch. If you only dune ride no...

That is true about the oil crystalizing without a cool off period I have seen it happen. But I run a 2.0turbo subie and a subaru turbo wich is watercooled and Subaru claims that their turbos do not need any cool off period no matter what driving conditions. But other non watercooled I would definent...

The teflon tape could have something to do with it. Is their a flap hanging on the inside. The same thing happened with my brother he used teflon tape and a piece of it flapped over and covered the sending unit hole and his gauge read no oil press. but his light never came on. Good luck with your pr...

I would go Fox they make coil-overs small enough for your application. You just need to cycle the rear susp. pull the old shock off let it drop all the way to axle bind bring it up about 1/2" to inch measure from shock hole to shock hole. Bring it all the way up and measure again this will give you ...

From what I have experienced and been told the Rack should be mounted alot closer to the beam. that should help bumpsteer some, but you will always have some from a beam front-end.

You shouldnt need the 02 sensor are you running stock exhaust. I know I dont run one on my 2.0. But is there a plug from the computer to it? if so you might need it. give john@outback a call he would definently know.
