Re: Shocker - AZ OHV funds turning out just as bad as CA's

My $.02 worth
I paid up for the copper sticker for years on all the toys.
Last time I went out riding
I was the ONLY one with a sticker Period out of 3 dozen riders out that day.
I have to ask whats the point?
Seems to be a voluntary fee that not many are interested in paying.

Looks like a Berrien Buggy frame. Yes those short flat tires will slide all over the place in the sand. Try a taller implement tire up front (I prefer the 5 rib) and run a Denman 7.60 x 15 (It's a 6 ply) and will take some abuse off road. Something like this http://www.sandparts.com/servlet/the-7/sa...

ok.....exist a problem with 3 rib??? 3 rib tires like these http://www.firestoneag.com/images/databook/tireimages/169_FARM_SERVE_RIB.jpg May be a little skinny but should help the steering/pushing issue (IF your front end is not too light) and you could go a bit wider if you have the HP to push the...

A lightened flywheel will let you rev up faster.
With your bigger motor you should have plenty of HP to push a stock flywheel.

That being said I run a lightened flywheel in all the my cars just to reduce the rotating mass and it makes more HP at the wheel.

Re: need better control in my classic vw 2 seats sandrail!!

I run a set of Implement tires up front.
They are a little heavier and take more abuse in the desert.
If your stricly running dunes, the lighter the better up front.

If your turning under power and pushing the front end?......Try a taller tire or something with a rib/razor or steering tire.
