Re: STU ATV tires, my .02

I have the same setup got them from the same guys. They are sand tire geniuses. I have 10" wheels on the rear and 8" on the front per there recommendation. The key is keeping the PSI up. I love the setup. The wider front tires make transitions up a hill or bowl easy/ smooth. I second these guys, the...

I really feel that a lot of people are ending up in the closed areas simply due to the lack of visible closure markers. During my last two trips, my group has accidentally ended up in the small closed area off of Roadrunner at least twice. So many of the markers are broken off or covered up that it...

Thanks Greg for the reply. I got the A Arms on yesterday, looks great, ordered brake line clamps today, will post pics after I put them on. Pretty easy to put on for a non professional mechanic. I going to take it to the dealer to have them check the tow and camber. Just to be safe. Best way to desc...

I have the Curtis Sparks pipe, I never had it dyno'ed, all I can say is that I am happy with it. Noticed a difference over stock. I also removed the air box lid and got a pro design intake kit, which is new baffle with a K & N. I got a Dynojet Power commander III for the EFI as well, easy to tune wi...

I will post some pics after I get them on this weekend. I bought my Laegers at the SSSS from Golden West Cycle, I have had them now for a while, went to put them on last weekend and they were the wrong A Arms, stupid me, I did not check, until then. They were for a 660. So I am headed down to Sand D...

I have read a lot on this topic, as I was out there this weekend. I think a sign should be posted at the top of this location. I have heard it is like an optical illusion, appears to go on, but in fact it is a razorback. This was my first time to Dumont. It seems like a place for experienced duners....

For those of you towing tongue trailers, CHP is checking ball capacity, so if you have a 6 K Ball and are towing 12 K, you better get it fixed. Not that anyone on here is doing that. My buddy got stopped on the way to Dumont this past weekend, made him lift it up, he was legal. He had a motorhome an...

IMHO, depends on your cash flow.

You need the slider hitch. I used to run the manual; it was fine, just remember to use it. The superglide is nice; never have to think about it. Is it necessary, no. Is it nice to have, yes. You will use it when ever you back up into tight spaces.

I am almost positive they do not deliver to Gordons. But if you do need a place to deliver to Gordons and Buttercup then check out: http://www.campnstyle.com/ I saw them at the Sand Show, seemed to be nice people. Decent Prices, might do it for New Years, trying to get my sister to come to Gordons.

Glamis Trip Last Weekend

Went to Glamis last weekend, amazing weather, hot, but with a cool breeze that made it nice. When the breeze stopped it was Hot. Camped at pad 2.5, the BLM should be commended for the job they did, even though overdue, on the pads. Hard as concrete, very nice to camp on. Not crowded at all. The dunes...

This is the craziest thing I have read all year; I had to read it twice. What a waste of money. The automakers are just going to pass it on to the consumers if they loose. For what it is worth, I got mine at the SSSS, I will fly mine at the top, then the checkered flag below, if it is not to much for the whip I will fly a Purdue Flag (My College) underneath the checkered flag.

I like the flag as designed, better then a triangle orange flag. Great idea.

I agree, same with the blinged out quads and Rhino's. You are out there to ride, it is not a fashion show. I expect to see spinner wheels soon for a quad or rail. The Rhino paint jobs are starting to get crazy too.
