just an update....

I ordered 4 of the LEDs and will try them out over turkey day (week)
with 2 6 volt batteries newly installed I'm hoping for some extra battery life

-evidently it takes at a minimum 2-3 rangers for every vehicle stop they make. They can't make a traffic stop or write a citation by themselves; if they do, they must wait till backup arrives to begin the proceedings. You DO NOT want a paddle tire up front on the sterring axle. reason ? other than sand in your face ? does anyone know what dump the trash that's now collected ends up in ?

if/when the new Mesquite Landfill opens, given it's close proximity to the dunes, would this not lower the cost of collection (so that dumpsters could be brought back to the dunes)

what percentage of the sale does the vendor get for selling the permits ? the reason I ask, is my local source in Riverside only sells the season permit. They NEVER sell the weekly permit. I figure it's because they take a higher percentage of the full season permit. I would like to see the vendors ...

with certain folks not bothering to use the dumpsters when they were provided, one would have to assume that nothing will change with them, even when the dumpsters are gone. For years, our old '70 Aristocrat trailer was the same set-up (factory)
We always ran a hose into a 5 gal plastic container.
Then took the container away from camp and dumped it.

Legal, who knows...?

To install a fence the length of washroad would be very cost prohibitive. I dont think the railroads are doing that well to justify that. But Mike you're right we should be good to our strategic partner. they are spedning $80 million for a new rail line thru Cajon Pass sounds like they are doing ok...

The article stated the accident happened at 2:20am...
I don't understand the need to be out in the dunes at that time of day...nothing ever good seems to happen when you've been up all day already
