Dennis, Do your Webers have the brass floats??Could the fuel coming it the carb be bouncing the float??As strange as it sounds if you cant pin point the noise...Try and switch the tops right to left...But if it runs good and smooth I think I would leave it. STEP IT UP to a Garmin Etrex Legend...I bought one for my future son in law last Christmas... 8) He likes it...Within two minutes he navigated his way around the pool and back... :lol: She bought one for me this Christmas... :shock: Now I just need to work the bugs out of the operator :roll:

beansub... I recently bought a set of big valve 42mm heads and a 82mm stroker crank along with a(I think 002)bus trans(3RIB). I will look for 94mm stroker pistons and a case to build a 2276. I will also want to run a set of 44 idf Weber carbs to feed it. Up to a 1915, a single Weber carb works good....

Thanks Dennis, I saw one somewhere from Rimco NEW cut for 94mm's $350. not sure if it was billet but looked clean.I am slowly gathering parts for a mid travel car w/1915 turbo or 2276.Will have to see what the wallet says :roll:

One handed steve...I used to do the math 69x94x94x3.14(short hand)I now do the calculations(long hand)pi at 3.14159.Thanks,And yes I made a note of it in my book...I wonder if the gas milage will suffer? :roll:

Since the cam was the only thing we were reusing Jason did they reuse the cam followers also :?: It would be a good :idea: to do a leak down test on that cyl to make sure you didn't bend the valve...(just in case the valve broke the follower)If it were me I would just find a couple more USED follow...

Kevin, With the pulley off...Does the keyway slop around on the shaft??The keyway should be a snug fit on the shaft as well as the pulley.

I have a Garmin Etrex legend and would like to up load more maps...Topo and street maps from Garmin CD roms...Some info calls for a ram card??Do I need one??and how big should I get??Is there anything else that anyone would recommend ???And where is the best place to buy the stuff??Thanks in advance...

Ok...Here is my 2 cents worth...(I strongly recommend a 5 rib implement tire over the 3 rib type)They don't throw as much dirt and are not as narrow as a 3 rib. I would recommend a 31" light truck tire for the rear(any good brand with a good tread pattern)If you are going to be bouncing off rocks......

I have questions about 3 rib 002 bus trans

I have questions about 3 rib 002 bus trans??? Can I use a type 1 motor with that trans without changing the bell housing?? It curently has the bell housing with the two eye holes on the top...If I recall the bell housings are interchangeable??
