Wolfpack, Im sure that Valen will agree, there is no need to appologize. It is a common mistake, one that many people make. It is funny to hear the many misconceptions that the general public has about the Marines and the Army. Arguably, the biggest difference is that the Army is its own division i...

Not quite true. Soldier is a term used for all Army personnel regardless of rank. We were/are all soldiers just as Marines are all Marines regardless of rank.

Memorial Day at the Mountain

Was a good time. Pretty packed but it didn't seem as busy as last year. Heavy LEO presence in the camp area but light in the riding area. We couldn't have asked for better weather for a May weekend at the start of summer. Was in the high 80's with a nice breeze coming from the west the whole time. G...

I just got the e-mail regarding Judge Ilstons ruling and the appeal and from what I read, I am completely behind the board in their decision and the plan to help BLM and the FWS re-do everything. Thanks to the board for a rational, well thought out decision.

How about targetted litigation? Play defense as we are now but find a spot, say the dunes north of Highway 78, or Oceano, and go on the offense there. As resources permit, then go on the offense in another place, all the while playing stingy, tough, hard nosed defense in ALL places. We can't go on t...

They demand 50,000 acres and we demand ZERO... ANY compromise will result in a loss. So we have two options... We either stick to the NO COMPROMISE idea or we start making demands of our own.
