I parked at Pad 4 from 11-15 April when the wind was a blowin. For something to do, the group started picking up nails and glass from old fire pit areas. We found about a dollars worth of change. A metal detector would have picked up more. One area looked like they brought out the demolished house, ...

The pin heads at NBC are arrogant and insensitive. By airing the video they can use it as propaganda to prey on those that can be persuaded to ban guns/rifles. The American Communist Liberties Union will not do anything to strengthen the morality of this country. They are in pursuit to make us all e...

Jason, in regards to the articles, it looks as though the City Council has a burr up there rear end and just want it closed. :? For what its worth, I went ahead and sent an email to the mayor and Chamber letting them know of my and others disappointment with the closure. ](*,) I will rise above it a...

Dumping behind the 7-11 in Brawley

I dumped my toybox behind 7-11 last Sunday. A local gentlemen was watching the rigs come into dump and approached me when I pulled up. He said that the Brawley City Council was closing the dump station on or right after Memorial Day for good, of which he opposed. It's nice to have this free an...

Wind Conditions For This Coming Friday

I haven't been to the dunes when there are high winds. It looks as though there may be 20-plus mph wind this coming Friday. Is there one place better than another to shelter against the wind. I was planning to stay somewhere near Roadrunner, but I don't want to get sandblasted.

You got to understand that the politicians are spineless and gravitate to the money and those who have the loudest most obnoxious running hole (mouth). This is one on many scinerios that allows for the US of A to be attacked by the wacko environmentalists. Look at COMMUNIST China, they're polluting ...

Anyone interseted in Ford 460 Engine

I have a 460 engine in my garage anyone can have for a donation to ASA. I do not know what it came out of or what year it is. A friend sold me a 30 Model A and the 460 to go in her. It'll be awhile before I get to Model A and I do not want to put the 460 in her. I live in Fallbrook.

Another one of my buds just called and said his boot burst on the way out to Ocotillo Wells. He has a 2006 F-250 6.0. He went to pass a slower vehicle, punched it and pssssssssssss! He said that he found a sharp edge on the metal tube. Maybe the movement of the tube over a period of time plus the sh...

Now if it BURST open, thats a whole other thing. The original burst open. There was enough material on the boot for us to get it back on the pipe and get down to EC Ford. You might have something there in regards to the amount of grease/oil on the pipe after we installed the new boot. I didn't wipe/...

Hey duners, My buddy was pulling his toybox up I-8 East grade (around Vejas) and the the lower turbo boot blew. Anyone out there experience this issue and know what the cause is? Has anyone experienced turbo boost problems? We dropped off the toybox and went back down to El Cajon Ford and put a new ...

Woodglue, My buds and their esposas will be out during your time frame. We are looking to stage at or near roadrunner though. The last couple of times out the osbourne dunes and big dunes behind olds have been railed out and are killing us old guys. We found that the dunes straight out and along the...
