Where can I order Sand Star Paddles online?

Post by Ross & Alice » Sun Nov 23, 2003 9:33 pm

I'd like to order Sand Stars on a good set of wheels online.

Can't seem to find them probably because they're so new.

Anyone know of a good reasonably priced place to order from???

Thanks, Ross.

You'll find Rocky Mountain ATV will probably be the cheapest. That is where I get my stuff.

Rocky Mountain ATV has package deals on Sand Stars front and rear on the ITP C-series wheels if you want a little extra in looks and performance.

Well there are only a couple of choices for the front. I just ordered a set of razors for my wifes YFZ450. I got the 21" tires on the 5" wheels, they have a 3-2 offset. The other choice was the 22" tires and you can get a 6" wheel, but the offset is 4-2 and in my opinion they stick way... to far out.

I'm just going paddles on the rears.

What would be the best size for a YFZ 450?

I was at CycleParts West in Stanton yesterday. They had a lot of Sand Stars. Not sure of sizes though. Give them a call.

You can try ebay.com, they might have them. Usually you can get everything underprice. I just bought 40 of those glow stick lights for 20 bucks (Including shipping!) and there about $3 a piece at the store.

I love ebay

I got my SandStars at CPW in San Diego. Got a rippin deal on them, at least compared to what they were charging for Skate IIs and Dune Runners. The latter were mounted on Douglas blue labels, but I paid less for the Stars which were on Douglas blue for the rear and ITP .190s for the front tires--stronger front rims, better front tires, and less $ out the door. But they were having a summer sale, too...

Thanks everyone.

I found them with C series polished ITP's with near stock offset.

Stock offset is 3.5 X 5. The C series ITP is 3 X 5.

Nice looking tire on a very nice looking rim.

I have to stay near stock width/offset because I haul my YFZ 450's on a rack.

Remember sandstars have a left hand side and a right hand side cut.
I went 20 X 11 X 10.
I learn something everytime quads are brought up in conversation.
