2005 Kasea SkyHawk 50cc.

Here's a picture of me hosing it down. I keep it washed up pretty good, so that way I'm ready for the next trip when ever dad says it's time load up.
comp 044.JPG
I've been riding this thing almost my whole life. I even know how to start it without any help.
comp 046.JPG
I've night riden a couple times, but I do most of my stuff in the daylight.
comp 047.JPG
I like to catch a little air when ever possible.
comp 049.JPG
I love riding this thing, especially in the dunes.

Seems this has been a long off-season for lil Woodputty.
Putting his bike back in the garage after his photo op proved to be a little challenging.

Now, "we" have a hole to patch. #-o

Gotta get that boy into the dunes soon!

And here's my Alba modded Banshee

I had to complete a training course on Off Road Fury to unlock this bad boy.

Its got every mod needed!!! All I had to do is hit the right arrow on the left key pad to adjust any setting for better performance. :D

Great pics Slop. You make me feel bad for having none in the sand. Makes up for your lack of close-ups [I'm secretly waiting to see a CLEAN 250R :-$ ]
But this rat here is just dang funny!

I recently used some steel-wool and elbow grease to get the melted plastic [from my MX pants] off my leg burner. It'll look good for a little while.

I hope you ain't waiting to see my trx clean. I started doing that at the begining of last season. I got out the degreaser, rags, mop-n-glow, towels, then I saw all the chipped paint on the frame. Sure I can clean up the metal where the paint use to be, OR I could get a rattle can out and kinda match the color. [-X Then there's the over spray. [-X [-X [-X

I did this once with this 81 ATC 250 I had (my first duner I might add). Stripped it down to the frame and painted it, put new plastics on it, sprayed the tank, got the seat redone. Still looked like crap. As hard as I tried I still dinged new "paint" trying to get it back together. It was horrible. Sure it looked a lot better but it wasn't worth the two weeks it took to do.
Image

Not gonna go through that again. If its clean enough to ride, the oil is fresh, the filters are clean and the chain is lubed i'm riding it. I'm not out to win awards.

That's Brian Sorrell from Friendswood, Texas on the left with his 1988 Honda 250R. Brian shipped his quad out by truck, flew out, rented a UHaul and camped/rode with us at Glamis several times. One trip, her brought out his fiance LeAnn and they got married and honeymooned at Glamis! =D> =D> =D>

Darrin is on his 1986 310R....he can tell about it. :D :D

Not yet. I think the power alone will be more than enough for the next several month. We might get paddles before the end of the season, but most likely next summer.

I met an 80 year old biker at Sturgis a few years back. He'd ridden his Knucklehead all the way from Washington state. I struck up a conversation while we were waiting out a lightning storm and was greatly impressed with alot of his observations about life and riding. When we mounted up and were about to leave he left me with the following words to live by:

You don't stop riding because you get old.
You get old because you stop riding.

What with all the movement nowadays towards all things 4 stroke, those old 2 strokes can be picked up for a song. Everytime I start mine up, I feel like a kid again. Kind of scared, kind of brave. I'm 55 and don't ride as long as I use to, but man it still gives me goose bumps to pull a 4 gear wheelie past the kids. They give me props when we're sitting around the campfire.
