Ok, I'll start us off

2005 YFZ450

I wanted the special edition version (loved that yellow!), but was unable to find one when I was ready to buy. So I ordered replacement radiator shrouds off of the SE (which are white), and added the graphics from ASA Sponsor BRM Offroad Graphics.

Dirt Wheels ranked the Dubach slip on very highly for both sound level and performance. I also went with a K&N filter, and replaced the airbox lid with a Outerwears prefilter. I have the jetting dialed right in, and it really rips. Another invisible change I made was to relocated the throttle cable pick up point in the carb. It makes a huge difference in how stiff the throttle feels (which is a common complaint with the YFZ).

Of course, I went with Lazer Stars. With the new regulator, I can now have the lights on even when the motor isn't running. These are the 25W HID versions, and they are BRIGHT! I also now have an LED brake/taillight mounted on the six pack rack; it really cleans up the back of the bike. I picked up the whip at one of the vendors a couple of years ago at the clean up. I really wanted a lighted whip; its tied into the tail circuit, and is also using an LED bulb from Lazer Star.

Oh wait I don't have this actual quad yet. I did ride one twice in the dunes and countless nights in my dreams. Funny thing is I don't want one right now. I really want a Redline Revolt. I'd post pix of it but this is the ATV section.

Good question and I recall you had suggested as such at some point during the ride. I did check at that time; all the settings default to standard units of measure (English) and would require me to manually change all the settings. Since the metric settings do not provide any value to me, I do not use them.

Here is my new baby an 05 KFX 700 (AKA V-force). I have wanted one for years. I can't belive I have one. Sure its a tank, but its my tank, and I love her. I have only had it a few weeks. When I picked it up it had the PRB(?) Armor kit, graphics package, ITP wheels and tires, and a tow strap. I'm guessing because it can tow a lot of stuff. :D
