Just got a dune buggy with 1915 VW engine. Looking for a shop to tune it up and take care of all of my VW needs.
If anyone has any recommendations it would be very much appreciated as I dont know anything about VWs or buggies. Of course now i will have to learn quick.
Thanks for any and all replies,
Chris

VW Paradise in San Marcos. I used to buy parts there when I was running a DUb and have heard a lot of people say they were happy with the engine / tranny service.

Been there a couple times. I'll second that recommendation too.valen76 wrote:B & R Buggie Shop in Oceanside, Ca.

They have helped me out several times. They will take the time to teach you about the car and not just give you your change and show you the door.
The owner also bought me some ATV riding gear that was stolen while I was deployed to Iraq. A couple of years later I bought a bug and they are the only ones I let work on it.

Re: Where to take my VW buggy to get serviced in San Diego?
I ended up taking it to Buggy Works in Santee on the recommendations of some locals. I did the preseason tune up and learned a lot about my new buggy. Im very excited to get out there and hit the sand. Thanks for the replies.
