ID the spindle

Could someone ID the spindle ? It doesn't have any lug bolts, can I put disc brakes on this ?

Balljoint with a sway bar (1970 era)
Take a picture of the flat face (should have 3 mounting bolts for the backing plate)
Being a balljoint VW spindle you should be able to run VW stock disks
