custom exhaust on an 06 6.0 psd

Post by saychz316 »

i live in the orange county area, cypress to be exact. im looking for somebody who does custom exhaust 4". i want to dump my exhaust in front of my right rear wheel, to 1. get it away from my airbags, and 2. to get it away from my 35" spare tire that fits nicely under the bed. i dont want hack work from a couple yahoos in some corner muffler shop. i want nice welds and bends, with quality being first. anybody know a good shop local, or travel? i already have an mbrp turbo back system 4", so im looking to probably have something put on from the cat back.

thanks - kevin

Try Fantasy Muffler in Buena Park.

6251 Manchester Blvd
Buena Park, CA 90621
(714) 522-3110

I think the street name just changed but they're in the same location as they've been for years. Just west of Beach Blvd, north side of the 5 fwy.

Good work, honest prices.

That's it, Auto Center Drive. It's about a mile from my office, I should have remembered that....

Dunepilot, how are things? It's been a while.

Trucks running great. I recently added air bags to the rear and am looking at front levleing kits now. The simple 2-2.5" spring packs.

How's the mini-buggy doing?

Hey Rooster! Doing terrific! Thought you were done with Glamis, glad to see you stopping in...

The Drak is doing fantastic. Yarded the POS Geo Metro engine for an Arctic Cat, 660, 3cyl Turbo, 125hp. Made some minor clutching adjustments this past season and it's been a awesome ride.

Glad to hear 'bout the truck. How's the Falcon?

Ya, we've sidelined Glamis.....for now at least. Like the Banshee; Gone but not forgotten. In fact we're looking at a trip this season without toys and just hanging out with trips over to Olds and such in the truck. There's something about those dunes that I just can't stay away from........

Glad to hear the Drak is still good - 125 HP, WOW!. That must be a real ride.

The Falcon is doing great. It gets lots of attention, especially since the mini-tub job we did. We've got a couple of car shows comming up in the next few months that you'd enjoy if you're in the area. The Ford Show at Knotts (April) and Show and Go in Riverside (May) are two of our favorites. If you plan on comming down let me know and I'll pass on the details.

109 on Sand Highway towards Patton Valley, but still don't know the top speed, yet... 8)

Send me an email with the show details; I'll bounce it off my calendar and see.

THX!

Saychz316, sorry for the hijack, but I was serious about the wheel cleaner; that wheel behind the exhaust outlet will accumulate lots of particulates and if you don't keep it clean, the finish will be adversely affected.

hey, no problemo on the hijack. im pretty anal about keeping my ride clean. although with all the rain these past days, and wind, my truck is filthy right now, and its killing me to drive it!! lol.

thanks for all the help you guys. i know where fantasy is at. they did my exhaust on my toyota truck in 1988!! thought they were gone with all the revamp they did in buena park over there the past few years..

thanks again..
