For Sale - Power Caster P-1 electric trailer mover

Post by Glamisbound » Sat Feb 02, 2008 2:18 pm

This is a PC-1 model Power Caster power mover. I'm not sure what year this is as I'm the second owner. I've had it for probably 5 years and it's works perfect. At my old house I needed it to park my trailer on the side of the house because the area was tight. Plent of power to move my 22' enclosed with a LT buggy and a couple quads inside.

These retail for $895 and are very difficult to find used. Buy mine for only $449 and never struggle with parking your trailer again.

For more info, check out the Power Caster site.

That's cool. I didn't know anything like this was sold retail. I was just designing one for my 5er and decided against it when my parts list costs hit about $1000.

Buy this and do a little fabricating to fit your 5er.

Mine was gonna be DC (variable speed) and 100% portable.(12 volt batt)

Since I injured my back, projects have been backing up. Still haven't finished the Jeep and will need the $500 I would spend on this for Jeep wheels. The scooter you had was too good a price to pass up, but apparently others thought so too.

These dollies can be very handy. I have one of these:

I have the AC2 model. He makes 12v versions, though. The AC2 worked well for me but several times I wished I would have had a battery powered one because the power cord can be a nuisance (if your outlet is in the same direction you're moving the trailer). At the time I figured that this minor inconvenience once in a while was preferable to having to keep the batteries charged year-round.
