Favorite new spot - Check these photos

Spent last week at Winchester Bay. Dunes were empty. Windy in the afternoon and evening that led to epic morning rides on the smoothest dunes and biggest hill climb's I've ever seen. Especially like the climbs through the trees. Check these photos http://community.webshots.com/album/78938802ICGTzQ

Those tree line climbs are awesome aren't they! I especially like the ones that you ride down to the bottom, stop, get off the quad and you have to manually lift the quad to turn it around. Absolutely no running area to get back out, so you better have serious HP to get out of there. I’ve seen a few that had to be pulled out by rope.

Funny you should mention that. We spent about an hour and a half pushing two quads up sideways one wheel at a time until someone arrived with a rope. Ride and learn I guess!

REALLY Nice pictures :P :P :P

We don't plan to do any tree climbs, especially with the sandrails...

Last time at Winchester we helped get a quad out of the trees, we must of had 100 feet of tie straps, tow ropes, ropes, cables,,,, and had to use Bryan's BIG motor sandrail to get him up. Once up Bryan "thought" he was in 1st gear and took out his trans and breaking 3rd gear

Were hoping to come home with some nice pictures too from Coos Bay... we leave in 4 hours!!! I better get some sleep...

Great Pics! I hope Rob and Art don't get busted for having beer on the sand due to "photo evidence".

Ohh, sorry to hear you were one of the ones stuck pulling them out. What type of ATV's where they?

Yeah, if you don't know what is on the other side of the dune sometimes people end up down there on accident too! Me, I look for them, but then I have a GSXR1100 stuck in my quad and I make those hills look easy.

Yes, just a little something I threw together to fulfill my need for speed.
