Post by RaptorD » Tue Aug 26, 2003 1:56 pm

Heading up to Oregon in 19 days. We have been reading up on the noise and alcohol laws, but heard, that you can not ride at night, is this accurate??

I believe that Florence is only open till 10pm.. Everywhere else (coos, Winchester, Houser, Sandlake) are open all night. Some of the camp grounds have rules about leaving camp at night. Have fun.

Yes Florence is closed at 10:00pm, however Winchester is open 24 hrs provided you have access (sand camping). The south dunes at Horsfall are closed at 12:00am. There are some private campgrounds that have different restrictions. Early fall is one of the best times to go... No crowds good weather...

It has been a couple of years since I have been to Coos Bay...but I think it has a 10pm curfew as I remember.

Hey,

Myself and some other sand rail and quad type people will be heading down to Winchester on the Memorial day weekend.

We plan on being there on that wednesday the 26th ? i beleive.

Is this a good time to be there to get a good spot ?

Is it still 5 bucks a day for sand camping ?

Thanks...

Jim
