yfz5150,
I moved this here from the WideOpenSand Forum, but I did leave a linkable shadow there. I then deleted the duplicate post that you had here in the St Anthony Forum.
Good luck with planning your trip!

Try: http://www.thesandhillsresort.com/

They have a very nice campground with full hook-ups. Lots of grass and cement slabs to park on. The sand around the campground is fun, but it is a short (15 or 20 minute) ride to the biggest hills.

There are other campgrounds closer to the big hills, but they are more primitive.

Just my 2 cents

For the 2 times I have gone we stayed at the Sand Hills and loved it. The managers were good to us inspite of bad stories we had heard. We did take extra gas with us as the Banshees seemed to eat it. Or Devils Bowl was just that much fun.

So if you can figure out a way to get some extra gas with you that will give you the best ride.

The Desert Oasis is now under new ownership and are vowing to make it the best location to stay. They have increased staff to help out around the camps along with some other changes. Don't hesitate to check it out! The name is changing to Idaho Dunes RV. Check out the website at http://www.idahodunesrv.com.
