Koolness

Post by dunedriver2005 »

well understand if u dont like the music i just think its gonna be awesome and can see why they chose the music they did since our sports are considered extreme and hardcore therefore a metal song fits in my opinion

I think the music was cool, just not as cool as the car!

Thats very odd

On Glamisdunes.com this topic got brought up by a first time poster...
then here it also get brought up by a first time poster...coincidence....dought it.

But if by some small chance it was different posters, I'll let you know what I think again.

Very poor editing, the entire content was covered in 5 minutes, the camera effects we way too MTV like. Probably not a show that will see much success.

Let me guess, this was a tease that was not supposed to be seen by the public so it's just a rough draft...heard it over there...

OK, finally saw 'the video'.

I'm dizzy.

Not sure what was the point of the video.
If it was to make me watch 'speed trap', it didn't really work.

I like Sand Limo and would probably watch the show to see Joe get some air time, but NOTHING attracts me to the whole speed trap thing.

Looks like a lot of motion with very little content.

Audio stunk.
For TV, audio is as (more, in a lot of cases) important than the video. If you just want to show motion for motion's sake, this is the video.
It did ZERO in communicating a message.

fwiw: I'm sick of the short attention span style. The b.s. deadline deal, how original and does anyone believe it? Just build a car tell me about it, show the how and why & get it out and run it!

No, I'm not Hunter, never have been, never will be.

That's funny.

I'm sure some of you are going to jump all over me but so what. I have thick skin and can take it. Yes I just joined a few boards. I also just got a computer at home. Gimme a break. But, call me what you want.

Spammer...

All of that.

I personally can't believe all of the super negative posts. Maybe someone will make some show about environmentalists that are shutting down the dunes and you all can ***** about that.

I still think it's a cool show and I'll watch it.

Welcome to the board. We have actually been discussing Speedtrap for sometime on this board, so thats why everyone thought your post looked like spam. A big etiquette step on all boards is to search through them when you first join, so as not to repeat previous discussions (although that still happens anyway). If you have any questions about this board, feel free to contact myself or one of the other moderators at any time.

Thanks

I appreciate that!

Yeah, I probably have a lot to learn about message boards.

But thanks. If I have a question I'll ask.

I feel the same way about the video. It would be cool to see on the big screen but I personally want to learn more about building. The Speedtrap web site says they will show more about the building but the preview looks like a lot of fluff.

Offroad is exciting and it would be great to communicate that to people. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Maybe Hunter will read some of this and incorporate it into the show.
