Funny?

Post by crash »

A Somalian arrives in Minneapolis as a new immigrant to the United States.

He stops the first person he sees walking down the street and says,
"Thank you Mr. American for letting me in this country, giving me housing,
food stamps, free medical care, and free education!"

The passerby says, "You are mistaken, I am Mexican."

The man goes on and encounters another passerby.

" Thank you for having such a beautiful country here in America !"

The person says, "I not American, I Vietnamese."

The new arrival walks further, and the next person he sees he stops,
shakes his hand and says, "Thank you for the wonderful America !"

That person puts up his hand and says, "I am from Middle East , I am not
American!"

He finally sees a nice lady and asks, "Are you an American?"

She says, "No, I am from Africa !"

Puzzled, he asks her, "Where are all the Americans?"

The African lady checks her watch and says..."Probably at work."

Of course great minds think alike.

On a side not that is related. I cooked for a friends company picnic for the 2nd year in a row. Last year, the only guys who showed up were all of his workers who were mainly hispanic (probably most Mexican, but I can't tell we all look alike....). I would say there was 4 non hispanic's out of about 40-50 guys. Their family's were invited, but I don't think they were comfortable with it, this being the 1st time and all.

This year, the event doubled and I was told many were bringing their wives and children. Julzie, monkeyboy and I showed up and started doing what we do. I noticed that most of the people showing up were non hispanic (I would sau caucasian, but us hispanics are caucasian too...) I was too worried, because the guys in the crew seemed to wait until the 'jefe' showed up.

Jokingly I told my friend, what did you do, fire the Mexicans and hire all white peope? His statement was:

"No, I want to get work done...."

Was funny to me.....
