At the home I lived in when I was a kid every once in a while we had ants kinda bad. Out place in Fontana Not ever an issue. Here at the new place Fricken crazy with these little things.
To top it off out dog has seizures and it started after a bug man came and sprayed at the old place. So we'd like to stay away from hardcore toxic stuff.
Any known methods to get rid of ants?

Amdro - Home Depot has it usually. It works great.

I second the Amdro. Only thing that works besides the stuff the EPA banned in the early 80s.

We have a summer spray schedule with Western pest control......$40 a month for May, June, July, August and September. They spray the whole yard and if I refer anyone, I get one month free . We were paying almost double that with a one year contract with our old company

Glad I could help. The trick with those is to let them take the bait back to their nests. DO NOT kill the line of ants going to them, if they cant take the bait back to their nest then it won't work.

the ants at my house have taken about 2 gal of that bait stuff back to the nest and use it as viagra I keep getting more and more ants from that hole.

I never saw ants like what we had. At the same time as the stakes we used this gell you put in corners on your counter. Our neighbor still has em but we don't.
