Hill Climb results

Post by JeepJD79 »

Hey guys, I don't know how many people have been reading any posts I leave on here about S.L. but I figure what the hell!
The Hillclimb seemed to be a great turn out, congrats to Michigan Sport Buggy for putting the event on. Its was great to see everyones rigs out there competing and having a good time. I will have some pictures to post within the next couple of days, as soon as I can download them in between classes anyways.

It has been a few years since I've attended the hill climbs, but I read your posts when I visit here :) I was planning on being there this fall (more to play on the sand than to watch) but the weekend before a SuperSwamper tire exploded on my towing truck and I replaced all four tires, this was the second blowout :( I just wasn't in the mood for playing after our 70mph median excursion pulling a 3200 lb trailer that weekend.

Are any 4x4s able to climb without a run at the bottom yet?

I will be working on the pics, and as soon as I figure out how to submit them I will be better off. So if you have ideas let me know :) The 4x4 class doesn't get a run at all. They are run the same as the buggies are, right from the base. Which is really cool! Ummm there were about half a dozen jeeps that ran, and then a tricked out ford coupe. Also a fullsize green blazer/chevy truck that didn't make it too far. All the others made it up just fine. Pretty cool! Sorry to hear about your blow out, thats not a fun experience thats for sure.

Alright Greg this is gonna sound like a really dumb question/problem, but I guess I haven't played around with this much so I am unsure how to post any pics on here I Have. If you have any idea or if anyone knows for that matter let me know,
Jason
