ASA ACTION ALERT!!!

Post by SANDUNERS »

DUNER ALERT!

*SITUATION: *The ASA is protesting the use of our Fee Demo (your camping permit) money to perform a $1 Million dollar Biological
Monitoring Study at the ISDRA. This monitoring program was required by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as a result of a lawsuit the BLM
lost. We feel that we, the users, should not be stuck footing the bill for something that is being required because the BLM settled a
lawsuit on something they were supposed to be doing. Fee Demo should be used to enhance a trip to the ISDRA (Glamis) as we told in the
beginning. What other projects will we have to pay for? This abuse of our fees must come to an immediate halt.

*ACTION REQUIRED: WRITE A PROTEST LETTER

*The ASA has set up a letter generator on our website so that you can let our political leaders know how you feel. You need to take action
*today* to let them know that we will not stand for this abuse of our money.
Please go to:

http://www.americansandassociation.org/ ... r0504.html

and make your voice heard. Our system will automatically email your letter to the appropriate people. Forward this to all of your duning
friends and make sure they follow through. It's that important.

*BETTER YET: *Print it out, SIGN IT, and mail it. Include your name
and return address. Hardcopy letters have 10 times the impact of
emails.

*BEST OF ALL: *FAX it to your representatives to the numbers that we
will show you. A FAX catches their eye most of all.

Best Regards,

The ASA

And Brian is slow...... :D

Come on people! I checked this thread to inquire about getting the FAX numbers, but Jim had already taken care of it.

DO THIS AND DO IT NOW!

Unless, you like wasting your money;
or,
Unless you like the government wasting your money.

Thanks ASA for making this the easiest letter generator yet!

DO it.....

DO IT NOW!

Ditto! Mine are in the mail too! The letters sent via US Mail will have a bigger impact. Send them in any way you can - DON't ignore this!

Even though most of the people on the list will be sent and e-mail as soon as you generate your letter it's VERY VERY VERY important that you also print them out and mail or fax the letters in.

I can't stress this enough! It's too easy for them to filter out e-mail that they don't want to see, but a fax or letter they have a much harder time ignoring!

Got mine today ! POMBO is the man !. with all the talk about AB# this and AB# that - I just hope time hasnt run out for the reform needed !. I wouldnt blame a ASA, DUNERS, ORBA or similar organization if we duners lost the fight !, however I cant say the same about the other 950,000 annual visitors to the ISDRA ! get a clue !
