Hehe, the boy in the middle looked like he was gonna hurl there for a bit.
The kids were moving around quite a bit. Can the harnesses be made tighter? I ask becasue I will be taking kids out in my car when it is done, and want to make sure they are secured as best as possible.

The belts are pretty tight they (the kids) can't really move that much anymore tighter and they say it is too tight. That was my son in the middle , I asked him if he was going to get sick , he told me that he was trying to keep the sand out of his mouth and that the speed we were going took his breath away...

Great video! I kept thinking that the kid in the middle wanted to stop and up-chuck!

BTW: "Stuck in the Middle With You" was by Stealers Wheel, not Tom Petty.

I thought the kid in the middle was chewing on something for a minute there, but I guess that's the story he's stickin' too. Very cool video, can't wait to get my kid out there when we get done with the new rail. You got some editing skillz Jim.

SWEET!!!!

And to quote ND: "Do you ever take it over any sick jumps?"

Great clip. I'm looking into a digital video camera so I can start making some of my own. What kind of software etc. is required for editing, dubbing in the music, etc?

There are a couple of topics on here about making videos. Try a search for video camera and they should pop up.

Paleale,

So last night while watching TV I saw a Honda commercial (car or SUV) that had 3 early teens in sitting in the back seat kinda sliding back and forth to the same song you used for this video. As a matter of fact, I thought you had hit the big time. Until I realized that Honda didn't come up with this idea at all.

Since you first posted your video on 11/26/05 I would have to say that someone in the marketing dept at Honda has stolen your idea.

Do what you wish with this info, but I know what I'd do.

P.S.- I'd like some new suspension for my quad once the lawsuit is settled.

Thanks for the info, but how would I go about doing something about it. The thing I don't like about it is now when new people see my video they will say I copied Honda. :x :x What channel did you see it on, and what show were you watching? Thanks

I will correct myself, I messed up.

It was a Wendy's commercial and 3 teenagers were in the back of a 60's car. I must have been tired the first time I saw it.

I saw it again last night at about 9:30 during Hero's on NBC.

As much as I hate to say it, call a lawyer. I see it as theft of intelectual property. You obviously didn't copyright it (who would), but seeing as how you posted that video here and on Google a year ago, Wendy's would settle the case rather quickly. It would be a slam dunk in court (especially in Mexifornia). No jury here would side with a business. Shoot for the moon and the settlement should buy you a star or two.

Like I said though, only a lawyer could tell you for sure. Something like, "I posted a video with music a year ago and now Wendy's has the same thing in their commercial with a different car and different kids."

Nevertheless, that was your video first. No recording artist would let me use their words and music with my voice and make money off of it.

Exactly why I wouldn't be to quick to call a lawyer. I doubt Paleale paid for the rights to use the song in his video, but Wendy's surely did.

Use of a song in a private video on Google will not be a big deal until it is made into one. Now if it was the video done with DJW's music I would say go for it.

I was thinking about more than just the song. The camera angle and song as well as the 3 in the back seat sliding/rocking around. Paleale wasn't trying to make any money, he made a funny with the play on words.

I saw the commercial, it is a pretty lame commercial, but the idea is still mine. I only made that video for fun and for everybody to enjoy, I did not make it for money. I am still trying to figure out if I should talk to a lawyer or not. Is there any lawyer's on the board... I also looked up Steelers Wheel on line and saw a video they had made with that song and there are no vehicles in it at all, they are sitting at a table eating...

What to do...what to do...
