Who will be there between Christmas and New Years???

Post by SANDUNERS »

I'm planning to. 8)

Is anyone interested in helping me with the ASA trailer for a half day?

I plan to inventory the trailer and clean it up some. Since it will be open I might as well ask for donations for items inside...

If your interested in helping, please email me and we can pick a day to do it.

Thanks, Jim

Jim, I am also posting a protest that that we need to go to the following places:

Olds (Only once until the other places are visited)
China
Lizard
Brawley Slide
The Wall (when it’s open)
The Plane Wreck (when it’s open)
The Boxes
The drags (once on big weekends and don’t stay more that 30 minutes)

I know- just what you wanted to hear when you are trying to get volunteers!

I am not able to get their until the evening of the 29th... :( cuzz I am on call at work until that afternoon... namely because I took off to the dunes for Turkey Day.. and my boss took the pager...he even held it while he was at his Paul Mcartney tickets... which he paid something like $500 for!! so I get to have it over Xmas Holiday... but he is taking it over New Years... I have your cell.. so I will call you when we are on our way...

We went to Gordons last Christmas... and the place was empty... not a single person at any of the hills... there was maybe less than 50 camping in the entire area... we even went over to buttercup and it was empty as well...

So your probably not staying for NYE?

Most likely, no... but maybe.

I'm hoping we leave atleast late saturday....gonna try to talk my dad into staying through sunday morning. It's cooler out there now, so my dad will probably enjoy it more. My mother will definately not be staying that long, she'll go back to our other house at the river and play with her cat.

I'll see what I can do, maybe we will make a trip to gordons, my cousin jason is interested, we'll see if we can sway the votes....

YES... spoke with Jeanne today.

The ASA Trailer will be at Boardmanville on Friday the 30th. I will have the doors open at 11am and plan to shut them at 2pm sharp. So if your available to help, want some stuff or just coming to BMV for lunch, your help is always welcomed in the volunteer ASA. :P

I'm not so sure I'll be there anymore. We are leaving on the 28th most likely... My uncle claims he has to leave for work early.... I don't even know what he does :?

However, I may drive back down from our river house, which is where we're gonna stay for the remainder of the week.

Just when I find a great opportunity, plans screw it up again

Thanks for the offer. We'll be firmly planted down at wash 16, but I believe only 1 other buggy will be in our group and I don't recall how much he actually runs the car (only camped with them once last year). Just thought it'd be fun to run a bit with a couple of other cars since I'm so new at buggies and fairly new running Glamis.
