Dune Updates? Heading out there Dec 12-19....

Hey everyone. I am heading upto glamis on December 12th fromt Texas. Just curious how the dunes are looking and what the weather has been like. Should I expect a bunch of wind? Let me know whats going on...

I'm heading out tomorrow. The winds blew last week and cleaned the dunes from TDay.

You should have some nice riding.

Not sure how much wind is expected next week.

Wind is good!

Wind is our friend as it smooths out dunes.

Was a great weekend. Dunes were very smooth, we had fun.

The wind kicked up again Sunday morning.

The wind was really starting to kick up as we were leaving Glamis earlier today.

well we are on bikes so we were hoping for some calm winds...kinda scary doing big jumps in crazy cross winds.....We are leaving on Tuesday..CANT WAIT!

Take it easy at first, expect for someone to be duning every dune you come up on. Be careful, dune with in eye sight of your camp while you tune and check your stuff out.
No hiking allowed! Have a great trip, we'll be back down on Thyrsday night. Maybe we'll see you!?!

Or not...

Buy your weekly pass at one of the Vendors if the Ranger Station is closed.
Have fun, and tell us all your impressions when the week is done.

You are going to love it!
