Olds?

Post by Sandcock »

Is that Olds in the Nissan Frontier commerial :?:
The real egalitarians are not the people who want to redistribute wealth to the poor, but those who want to extend to the poor the ability to create their own wealth, to lift themselves up, instead of trying to tear others down. Earning respect, including self-respect, is better than being a parasite. Thomas Sowell

Yes sir Scotty, it is

From what I understand it was shot out there on a weekday in late August.

It's so amazing what that truck can do, between being the landing gear for a jumbo jet and pushing a stuck sandrail up Olds, I don't know why anyone would buy any other truck out there :P

With that out of the way, I think I will stick with my Dodge Cummins  I do find the comercials very entertaining though =D>

Better yet, how about Nissan steps up and donates a Glamis edition Nissan Frontier to the ASA as a raffle vehicle :-k especially since they used Glamis to help sell the vehicle. Oh yeah, cash donations work too

Like all of us watching those commericials, my response was no f'in way  Anyone hear of trick or computer generated photography? We have all been in the dunes stuck on the side of a hill much less a one ton truck. Its all bunk

Watching the video, it looks like they buried plywood or something similar, as the truck doesn't dig in at all.

Tricks and Illusions to get some poor sap to buy a nissan truck. How many people are we going to see this year stuck in the dunes thinking their street truck can negotiate the dunes?
