Barak vs Hilary [your 2 cents? here's mine]

Post by OBSESSED »

I was at the Gym yesterday... [  ]

And one of those 'Talking Head" shows were on the over head TV. So I was reading the dialog not listening...
Barak O'Bama's people were trying to show how conservative Hillary is.
They were trying to show how middle of the road she is on her voting record...
So Barak's people [say/feel] he is way more liberal than Hilary…
That is really scary!!!

Are you scared?

I am...

Personally, I love "Gridlock" in Government...
It means less stupid laws by the Reps/Dems being put into law.
So with a Dem President, and a Dem controlled congress, I think life will be hell for a person such as me.

As I see it:
33% Will vote Dem no matter who is running...
33% will vote Rep no matter who is running...

the 33% in the middle controls the election. If that candidate is too far left or too far right, he will lose.

So, the 33% in the middle needs to wake and smell the socialism brewing.

Steve

I've been through a few primaries before, but this one is the most interesting I've seen. IMO, HC and BO may play the game of who's is the furthest to the left, but if HC wins she will go more centurist because the center (as you corectly stated) will get her the Presidency. I'm not so sure BO will move to the center if he gets the nomination, i.e. I think he will stick to his true convictions in which case I don't think he could win the Presidency. What does that say about HC :?: She reminds me of the Charlie Daniels song where the devil is after your soul

I think the Rep primary will drag on if Huckabee stays in. IMO, McCain can't beat HC, but Romney can.

In regards to the Senate, IMO it's a real posibility that the Reps. can gain the majority again, especially after the parties nominees are chosen. If HC gets the nomination (which is expected) pig rancher's slop will be nothing compared to what we will see is going to produced from HC to win the Presidency. This will have an effect on the country electing congreesmen and senators. With the Seante being 50-49-1 there's a chance.

I'm Republican but as far as not voting for a Demo-RAT I wouldn't say I fall into that category, it's just as of yet I have not had the opportunity to vote for a pro OHV and pro GUN Democrat...TJ :)

=D>

Only thing better than "Gridlock" is less government.

Less government = more freedom.

Notice that I did not say no government, but I said less government.

Government should always be considered as a necessary evil. When considered as such, it will become and remain limited.

Liberals like Hillary and Obama as evidenced through their words and actions believe that government should be big - very large - huge.

I do not expect McCain's record to be much different. #-o ](*,)

The good news is that some of the dunes are still open and next week I will enjoy this government allowed freedom by clearly displaying my $90 season pass...
