Hopefully you can get your dune fix via alternate avenues.
As a matter of fact, yes. I just got offical word that I am in. We are moving into the office this same weekend.
The good news is that I am much closer to Dumont for a dune fix:)
And Dumont's new fees! Real fair fees at that.
NOT!!!

Jake, that is great to hear that you guys are making another trip with us, esspecially after we all ended up in that witch eye together!
Scotty,
I dont know what brand those lights are, I got them used and pretty tore up. I refinished them and modified them to fit my quad. I will say that they are much better than stock! I loved the fact that I could see everything I was steering into.
I will say that they are a pain in the butt to get right. The installation itself is not hard at all, but they are not designed real well. I was thinking about modifing them a little to work a little more reliably. I was also thinking about making a couple of sets from scratch. I will let you know what I come up with. Are you interested in a pair?
I'm thinking about it. I'd have to change the ignition set up on the 660. I'm not sure what's out there and the cost to make the change.
I need to buy the plastic shorud for the right front light, i.e. it was broken along with plastics when I rolled it. Got to do some sheet metal fabricating too. My plastics are flopping in the breeze and need to secure them. Hopefully, I can clean all of the sand out of the three wheels, air'em up, and they will hold air [-o< I'll have her up and running though, oneway or another.

Why would you have to change out your ignition? Are you planning on runing both your stock lights and some additional lights on the bars? If you do that, you need to look into a stator too.
I would recommend that you run the bar lights and not the stockers. The lights I am using are 12V 35W flood lights, and dont pull that much juice. You shouldnt have to worry about the ignition if you take off your stockers...
Average 10 day LOW for that weekend is around 90 degrees. You guys are nuts.

Woody and I decided to go on a trash pick up around noon. Not the smartest thing we did all weekend. We lasted about a half hour before we were too toasty to keep going. I dont know how hot it was at the time, but it was 113* at 4 PM.
But we did get about two or three bags of trash picked up...
I meant the switch on the handlebars. The raptor has a plastic trim that houses the ignition switch and lights, which would get in the way of the lights attaching to the handlebars. I would probably have to get some sort of after market billet set up to make it work. I need to look into it a little further and see if the additional light is worth the addition cost.

Sorry, no lights I could bring the rail, but the A/C is out, bummer

Pretty cool stuff Washroad. The bracket is the ticket. I'm a dummy when it comes to the light wattage. Do you know if I would need a stator for the 35 or 50 ftr's?

I'm running the 35w HIDs. I had originally modified my stock light switch so the low beams (stockers) would always stay on. Under full throttle/power shifts, the HIDs would cut out. I removed the mod, but haven't really had a chance to check them yet. I have a 140w aftermarket stator from Ron, just waiting on the bigger one he says he's working on

Remember when I said, "I don't night ride."? Well, you gotta ask Ron. He knows way more about lights than I know about, uhhhh, hmmmm, anything.
I've been in his shop/store several times, he's always telling me things, showing me stuff and I'm thinking, "Jeez, I always thought a light was a light." Ron shows me how much I don't know.

I think I'm going to pick up the billet and add the lights when I get some overtime. The set up looks sweet. There is never enough light for the blind.
