We own a house together...and we have a party on Aug 4th. So that means the Wookiee has a lot of work to do.

Cool, thanks for the offer Clay! Getting a ride out there isnt really the problem, esspecially since I have a friend that I want to come out with us, and my BEAST would ensure that when your Yamaha breaks down in the middle of the dunes, we can drive something back there and get it out. My biggest problem is getting the "honey do" list taken care of before August 4th! We are having a big shin dig, and I have mucho work!the_fog wrote:hey GW JAKE and I can give you a ride. Your honda will be behind two yamahas on the trailer but it should be used to it. ha ha!
Sweet talk DP into letting you go out to get refreshed and you'll be really motivated when you come backMy biggest problem is getting the "honey do" list taken care of before August 4th!
What you trying to say Willisand my BEAST would ensure that when your Yamaha breaks down in the middle of the dunes,

I'd like to do that again, but I can't this time.the_fog wrote:Does anyone want to go out a day early, its been around 100 degrees this week. Jake and I would love some extra ride time.
That morning run was a pretty good run and my dad and I probably should have ended the day with that one. We rode out to Gecko Road at a pretty hard pace and had to putt back because we were so tired.Sandcock wrote: I'M TIRED

You should have stayed for the morning run. They're always the best part and this one was no different.bgwhtjp33 wrote:After you left, were you able to find the guys that you were supposed to meet?
No, I just went home, tried to beat the sun coming up........man was it hard driving it to the sun. Hmmm maybe I need to move so I can drive away from sun....hehe!
Hopefully you can. Let us know!bgwhtjp33 wrote:Maybe I'll make the next night ride, and be a little more prepared for the whole night........

Maybe. My buddy is just finishing a new Suby. I'm sure he'll want to "break" it in. Depends on when he's done.norocksplease wrote:Who is down for a mid august ride? No moon just nerves of steel and whatever lights you might have!!!
I plan on going FAST!!! Morning ride last trip averaged 55mph and peaked in the low 70s for me and mike330rs rail (mikes GPS tells no tales!) Most couldn't hang but maybe some of you can
C'mon boys SACK UP!!!
at Mach II your to fast for this old guyMorning ride last trip averaged 55mph and peaked in the low 70s for me
I'm not sure what you're talking about, but here's what I'm talking about.norocksplease wrote:I think the rest of them are pouting at me...and they know what I'm talking about
Technically 'mid-august' [i.e. Aug15] is on a Wednesday so I'm not sure which weekend you're talking about Aug11/12 or Aug18/19? Or maybe you're talking about W:Aug15? Couldn't much say yes without knowing what date you were talking about.norocksplease wrote:Who is down for a mid august ride?
The kid isn't lying, I was Mike's navigator on this trip. Everytime I looked in the mirror, Marcus was in the roost. His pink skin isn't sun burn, it is dermabrasion from the roost....norocksplease wrote:Morning ride last trip averaged 55mph and peaked in the low 70s for me and mike330rs rail (mikes GPS tells no tales!)
