Looking for input on the 2011 ASA trip?

I know that some people had an issue with the ASA trip for 2010 being two weeks after Presidents Day weekend. Acknowledging this I would like to try hear when our ASA members would like the 2011 trip to occur. Unfortunately with New Years, Martin Luther King and Presidents Day weekends between January and February, the 2011 ASA trip would have to be moved to March 11-13th to make it where it is at least three weekends between a holiday trip. Easter is April 24th in 2011, so let me know what you guys think. Thanks, GSD

Mid March works for me, since that would be about 30 days past presidents and enough time in between Easter.

Presidents day is February 21st in 2011, which makes this trip three weeks after Presidents day weekend and six weekends before Easter. If you need more time we can push it back further, but I can tell you that I don't think March 18-20th will work for us. Just wanted to Iron out all of the kinks before we set this date in stone.

I don't know about you guys, but I had a hard time trying to find good dunes out of camp from wash 16. It seems like I rode for five minutes before finding a good line. That being said, what do you guys think of moving it to another wash Like Wash 24 . I think we would want to stay away from wash 10 as an option. What do you guys think?

No idea if it will work for me to go on this trip again in 2011, but I have to agree wholeheartedly with this statement. 24 would be an improvement I think.

I like the mid-March idea. The main reason we didn't go was that we were out at Presidents Day and to turn right around two weeks later and go again wasn't in the budget plus we have to plan ahead more with our work schedule. We can only afford to go only so many times a season and to space them out makes scheduling alot easier...at least for us. I'd go every two weeks the whole season if I had the money and the time.

It's settled........The 2011 ASA Dune Trip is officially game on for March 25-27, 2011
