Sand Dune trip for 4 X 4 ATVs & S X S/UTVs Dec 10th

Post by azsandrider »

Sign up now first the first annual all 4 X 4 ATV / UTV sand dune trip at Buttercup in the Imperial Sand Dune Recreation Area in California. I'm going down Friday, Dec. 10th and returning Sunday, Dec. 12th.

This is your chance to check out another type of ride on your 4 X 4 ATV or stock UTV-S X S. This trip is limited to these types of OHVs so we all will be riding similar vehicles with the same suspension travel and characteristics. 4 X 4 ATVs dune reasonably well, but not as fast as sport quads or buggies.

No paddles or special equipment needed except for a whip flag. Helmets are required for ATVs. Bring your own camping equipment, food, tools, gas, etc. You will need a BLM camping permit to camp there, but you can purchase them in town at a reduced rate than buying the permit at the dunes. Buttercup is an easy camp area to find and to park at. There are outhouses there for campers comfort.

PM me with your mobile phone number if you want to go or have questions.
(The above statement is my own opinion and not that of the ASA's.)
