Bike Machine shop No San Diego County - Racers out of biz

Racers Toy Store a North San Diego County a long time motorcycle machine shop has gone out of business. Larry has moved to Wisconsin for family issues. This guy did great work. It leaves a void in the marketplace.

Does anyone know of another machinist in North San Diego county or anywhere else in the county?

If you're talking just general machine work, AJ Machine, the designer and manufacturer of the AJ SpeedShift kit (makes any VW or Mende box sequential shifting) is in Lakeside CA. That's East San Diego County. Steve is the owner, 619-561-9885.

If you're talking engine work, Duncan Racing is in El Cajon CA. That's East San Diego County. Just make sure your wallet is REAL fat if you go here. Excellent work though.

Thanks for the info Crash! I ride a 2 stroke ATC and looking for guys who can do the barrel bores primarily.

Duncan is my choice. Just had a Kawi cylinder Nikosealed (did I spell that right?) by them. Took twice as long as expected and cost ALOT, but came out nice. If you want to get rid of the middle man and need this type of cylinder work, I found out Flame Spray Inc off Interstate 8 by Qualcomm stadium will do it.

He a small shop and he is trustworthy. He went out of his way to make sure i had my Quad ready to go last trip. I highly recomend him.
